Feature Requests » To Post or Not to Post

4 months, 3 weeks ago

Richard assures me the features are there, but I'll be buggered if I can find the directions.

When posting to Natuba via email from my iPhone, I'd like to be able to add "flags" to optionally post to my blog, or to twitter, or both. I have the "automatically post" shut off, because I don't want everything mobile posted to those sites. Are there flags or other mechanisms to determine what happens to a mobile post when it's sent?

Thanks,
Shawn

Mr. Powers,

Thanks for the question. Within the body of your iPhone email (or any mobile email if others are interested), enter the text "post: (label of blog)"

So, since I labeled my blogger blog, "blogger," I would type:

post: blogger

This is the same with tags. If you want to add tags, then include them in the body of your email. For instance if I want the tags, "Powers, question, answered,"
I would enter the text:

tags: Powers, question, answered

Thank you. If you have any further questions post them here or select the Contact Us button from the bottom of your page to send a message directly.

Best!

Also, if you have multiple places you want to post to you can separate the labels with commas:

post: myblog, twitter, mylivejournal

Also, you can rename the labels in your account settings to something shorter so it is easier to post from your phone:

post: b, t, lj
