The coffee in the commons sucks. In the snack bar, they serve Seattle's Best, which isn't that bad. But when they offered Seattle's Best cups for us to take our commons coffee back to our offices, that was just wrong.

I saw a little while ago that there was a resolution to impeach GW. Not surprising that nothing has come about from it.

Do you know what a totalitarian dictatorship is? Do you have sources other that a youtube video? Have you seen some of the shit on youtube? If you honestly think that, you are an idiot and people like you are the biggest reason that things aren't perfect in this country right now (but they are STILL way way way better than most countries).
I don't understand this cartoon, and from the comments below, neither do most others here … I would guess its intended satirically, but if it is, there is no discernable humour.
The American Constitution has exactly such a provision. America is the only country on Earth in which the president (and a strong president at that … in constitutional terms at least) is not elected by the people but indirectly by a select crowd of elites. This system was put in place precisely because the people were not trusted to avoid electing a “fucking moron”.
In practice it happens that the Electoral College votes in accordance with the popular vote, but this is not enshrined in any American law, and during any election the provision to override the peoples vote could be exercised …
Remember that next time you are extolling the virtues of American “democracy”.
I find it pretty funny actualy….read the other comments…and it is funny too, most of the people seem to believe that the situation has to be an american one whereas it does not refer to anything like this anywhere on the drawing, looks more scottish than american to me, are we a little egominded here? LOL
