Is “green-tech” taking over? even in a fossil-fuel driven and energy company ridden city like houston?
U-Haul Education
This was on the side of a U-Haul truck. I had no idea they were so into education. Apparently you can learn more about fossils at their website.

Cheap Gas and Chicken
This is the cheapest gas I've seen in a while. Pay at the pump fried chicken is a good idea too.

Nothing could be finer...
...than to be in South Carolina. We're road tripping to Jersey. Why? Because it's still cheaper than taking a bus for three (and safer), taking a train (which takes longer), or flying (9/11 tax, fuel tax, homeland tax, shoe tax, etc.). What's wrong with that picture?

“Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!!”
(Sorry, the boots made it look like the BioDiesel was made from people parts…)
The boots add a quirky dimension to this photo. But, FYI, The Houston Business Journal ran an interesting article last year about biodiesel entering Houston. There's this company that was planning to buy 12 biodiesel generators from a German company. They're turn-key systems, available for just a $1 Million a pop, from what I remember. Kinda cool, if ya got the fuel.
