The Machines de L’île
If you are the lucky ones who have friends/family/holidays in Brittany. You have to go to Nantes. First of all, the city saw the birth of one of our beloved genius, Jules Vernes. But I will not talk literature now, but mechanics. When you go downtown, near the river Loire, there is a very particular island in which dwell many stange creatures, half steel, half wood. The Machines de L’île is an artistic project situated in the former warehouses of the Nantes shipyard. Part Vernes, part Vinci and definitely part Dr Moreau, you cannot miss the gallery of the Machines, the Heron Tree and the Great Elephant (dare you ride it?). It is worth the travel for any steampunk lover!

Hanging out at the, ya know, mall (in Delhi)
I grew up associating certain things with India and certain things with the States. So malls like this in India are always a little bit mind bending and out-of-body for me, even though I've been to many here before.

Dude, that looks like one seriously old microwave!
Hence the difficult in finding a replacement door handle. But the microwave is actually 'new' relative to the rest of the house — it's only about 35 years old vs. the rest of the house which is about 75 years old. :-)
Why would you try to restore the microwave? My grandmother had the same microwave for over 20 years (she bought the lifetime guarantee from Sears so they actually came out every year and maintained it). At any rate, it was like 100 watts max or something ridiculous, it took like 30 minutes to boil water. Instead you should like turn it into a fish tank or something cool. ;)
WOW!! a 35(!!!) yo microwave?! I didn't know they were microwaves that old. is it even safe? Any chances of walking pass it and grow a second head or a third eye or something? :P
