A little bit of Spain in Texas
I can't quite let go of my recent trip to Spain... fortunately. We brought back a paella pan the same as Mama Parrondo's and a bottle Valdepenas wine. Of course it didn't taste the same as mama's, but the effort was close enough to brighten the memories. The photo is before we removed it from the fire, so the yummy stock was absorbed to finish a luscious rice with rich flavors. Chicken, venison Sausage, Spanish chorizo, Shrimp and more yummy goodness with rice just crusted on the bottom.

I was *just* about to say “but there's no penguin this time”, but alas, there is. Phew.
I have a friend who picks wine based on alcohol percentage. I think you should choose based on penguinage.
