Help! My 4yr old iMac gets stuck here on boot up. Local co. that can open and repair?

    Called Apple tech support this morning, they're pretty sure it's a power supply issue and though the system itself is out of warranty, this particular issue for my iMac G5 is covered under a “repair extension” program that they have:

    I need to take it to an Apple Store and hopefully they'll be able to get it repaired. This system fits perfectly into my living room as a simple web browsing computer — would be nice to not have to replace it!

    try restarting, but hit the apple and “s” keys while the computer reboots.
