    That breaks my heart. :/ What is the count down for the new place? Based on how contractors generally work, I assume there's only a vague answer to that question available.

      Nah, no big deal. The bed we were sleeping on in the old rental was horribly uncomfortable. This might actually be an improvement. :)

      And timeline? Ugh. The house hasn't even been torn down yet. I'm waiting for paperwork from the builder so I can send in a HUGE stack of papework to the mortgage company, and I'm waiting for the contents person to finish depreciating our belongings so I know how much money we have to deal with for the additional things we're putting into the house, etc, etc, etc, etc.

      But, we have a roof over our heads, so it's all good. :)

    I certainly feel for ya, man. Back in '93 the apartment in which I was living battled fire and lost. I was without the creature comforts, and on a similar bedding arrangement, for about 6 months. Fire tends to be one of those things people consider as happening to the other guy…that is until it happens to them.
