<p><strong>Bird Rescue!</strong></p><p><a href="http://www.natuba.com/photo/IfTxq9/"><img src="http://static.natuba.com/8SJSaeuGQX6Znlm3mF5Vbw_m.jpg" /></a><p>2nd day at my new job. I get out of my car in the parking lot, only to find that a very large pigeon has been lodged into the grill of my car! i had NO IDEA what to do. I had a meeting in an hour, I don't want to be "the new girl with the bird stuck in her car", so i frantically call Thomas, Chris, Matt, Dad, Mom, Mark, and the best idea i got from all that was to call SPCA (thanks chris). The worst was to drive through the car wash til it got out! It was still alive! So i went to my meeting, got out, and called Sugar Land animal control. They were there in 3 minutes! All professional like it was Animal Planet or something! I was in tears. This poor bird was still alive, flopping around in my engine, feathers everywhere! It took them about 20 minutes, but they wrangled it out. They said they have a bird rehab lady (who knew?!) and that it should be fine! They even said i can call and check on it. :-) Wonder what will happen on my 3rd day? </p><p><a href="http://www.natuba.com/photo/IfTxq9/">Posted</a> on <a href="http://www.natuba.com">Natuba</a></p>
