Make up stamps
My mom is a substitute mail carrier and seems to enjoy constructing exact postage from her collection of "make-up" stamps. Now the post office sells "forever" stamps that don't require make up postage.

This was my first Firefox tshirt. They went on sale a couple years ago and I thought, "That's the one piece of software I don't pay for and wish I could".

Computer Stickers 1
Tricking out my new Kubuntu Dell machine. I've been collecting these stickers over the past 10 years, waiting for the right place to stick them. Seriously. I waited to buy a new snowboard to stick them on, but then I moved to Texas. I would never think of putting a sticker on a Mac, but PC hardware, whatever. :)

OpenBSD 2.6 Sticker
Apparently I've had this alarm clock for a long time. I put that OpenBSD 2.6 sticker on there as soon as I got the CDs in the mail. OpenBSD 2.6 was released in December 1999 and I ordered it right away.

With my recent purchase, Amazon sent me an envelop to ship up to three cellphones to Motorola for recycling. I think I can get three in there, but I'll need a bigger mailbox.

Orange Show Burlesque Gala
"Most people think that "burlesque" means female strippers walking a runway to a bump and grind beat. But that only fits the form in its declining years. At its best, burlesque was a rich source of music and comedy that kept America, audiences laughing from 1840 through the 1960s." Source: the history of burlesque. Photos from the Orange Show gala where I do some volunteer stuff.

To Stick or Not To Stick
My favorite stickers and the only ones that haven't been put on the new machine. I can't decide if I can commit to sticking these or not.

Wheels of Burlesque
"By 1905, burlesque theatre owners formed vaudeville-style circuits of small, medium and big time theatres. Because big time burlesque companies played these theatres in regular rotations, the circuits came to be known as wheels -- the largest being the Columbia (Eastern U.S.), Mutual, and Empire (Western U.S.) wheels. Unlike vaudeville performers who sought weekly bookings as individual acts, burlesquers spent an entire forty week season touring as part of one complete troupe. For three decades, this system made burlesque a dependable source of steady work." Source: the history of burlesque. Photos from the Orange Show gala where I do some volunteer stuff.

Serious Bikers
These guys are serious about child abuse. If you doubt it, they will beat you up! That is the message I get from this sticker. Is a fist with a skull and cross bones the most appropriate logo for anti-child abuse?
