Happy toes in Segovia
Apparently, to the great amusement of my friends, my toes tended to wave on their own as I walked through Segovia. Each step in my sandals was accompanied by a near involuntary lift of my toes before they sank back down to meet the ground. I just think they were happy.

Sandclock in alcazar
Whether it is authentic or not, this was a clock secured to the wall in the Alcazar castle of Segovia. Exquisite to think of how many times it was rotated.

Armored guard
Alcazar castle in Segovia, the guard seems to be monitoring the palace even today. I was tempted to open the helmet and look inside, but some little twinge of MontyPythonesque fear kept me from doing so.
