Desert bloom
When I first moved to Las Vegas all I saw was the dirt... now all I see is the green. This is the only one blooming of four identical shrubs. Must be in an ideal microclimate.

Some Things Don't Need Bulk Sales
I always thought it was a myth that you could buy condoms at Costco/Sams Club, but lo and behold they DO! A 40 pack for 8 bucks. Wait, a 40 pack?!? Okay that is a big commitment don't you think? I would need to buy bulk bags of ice and a ton gatorade with that purchase. (Maybe that is the conspiracy!)
