Davie Poplar
The tree planted by Col. Davie to mark the spot where UNC-CH would be built. He supposedly said that as long as it stood, UNC-CH would remain. It's now full of concrete and held up by cables.

UNC Sleep Lab -- Instructions & Ambien
All the things I was supposed to do before and during the lab...amazingly enough, sleep was not listed. The Ambien was given to me by the doctor to actually knock me out enough for the testing. The dosage was 1 pill...I had to take 2.
