First use of open social
It's exactly what I need, I just can't get it to work anywhere, tried tumblr(bad results) and wordpress(nothing showed up) bummer
Posted by oyunfound about ago.
It works on blogger though =(
The only place I could get the new open social plaxo widget to work was on my blogspot account, which unfortunately I don't use all that often. WHY CAN"T IT JUST WORK ON WORDPRESS In Action: oyunfound.blogspot.com

Nothing like a nice drive speeding through Downtown.
>> Unfortunately with all the construction, gentrification, and the upcoming further addition of gridlock due to this city's inability to build things without adding traffic, the only way to get around here might be by foot. That's right Angelenos. Though luck! You are all walking.

Everywhere you can find me online(I think)
I just had the urge to put everything in one place online. These are all the places that I have signed up for that give me my own page(so to speak) I have added a link to my main blog, www.oyunfound.wordpress.com that has all these links in case you want to check out any of these services before signing up.(I wish someone did this before me, would have saved me alot of time) I don't really use them all so some profiles are more thorough than others. Top three of the list: Jaiku, grasshoppers and backpackit. Bottom three, virb, groovr, and 8 apps. Zaadz is starting to grow on me.

Netsquared Houston
Shot by deneyterrio. This is a meetup group for Netsquared that meets at the Stag's Head Pub on the second Tuesday of the month. This time I arrived a bit early and sat there thinking about the location. Stag's head. We are discussing social issues with dead animals on the wall. Being from Texas I am completely cool with that. (I watched the Lion King - circle of life, eh?). Which led me to wonder what social issues are faced by taxidermists that can be addressed by technology? So if you are a taxidermist and interested in speaking at an upcoming Netsquared meeting please call me. Just whatever you do, to not tell Gina and Brit.

Why dual widescreens are good
The nice thing about the 2405FP (besides being freakin’ huge) is that the native 1920x1200 resolution lets you open two fullsize browser windows side-by-side since most websites are designed to be 800 pixels wide. So the picture above shows my new workflow with 4 full size browser windows open. The far left is Gmail. Next is a Wordpress edit window for this site. Followed by whatever site you’re researching. The far right is Bloglines which I use to read news feeds. A nice hack for Bloglines is turning on “Open Links In: Reuse New Window”. So if you’re running two browsers side-by-side every link you click in Bloglines will show up in the second window. It’s really slick and much faster than running tabs. I guess I’ll need to pick up a third monitor for IM.

Decorated Truck
I had to re-string a standard set of LED lights to work on 12 volts - it was a huge pain but it turned out pretty well.

Green LED Tree
Our new tree uses only 32 watts of power (checked with a Kill-A-Watt). Based on some tests I did, it looks like a standard tree would use well over 200 watts.
