I noticed the disclaimer at the bottom of the package of peanuts on an airplane last weekend. Are people really so stupid that they have to be warned that peanuts may come from a facility that produces peanuts? (and other nuts)

I can feel my arteries hardening just looking at that. Boiled peanuts are the BEST, but I cannot find them green (raw) to do myself here in Texas. still… yum!
