I bet few people know that Ikea actually has a restaurant in it. They serve Swedish food of course, and no Allen wrench is required!

Even Ikea thinks that Austin is not worth putting on their map.

Driveway Sign
Always found this to be humorous. This was taken in Omaha. In case you couldn't see the driveways, they've put up signs to show you where they are.

Sham Wow WTF!
Okay, I could talk all day about how I HATE this infomercial. Looks like the cancer that is ShamWow has spread to Costco and I took a pic of the box art. Is this supposed to entice me to buy it? Look at this guy man, he looks like every single meth addict I have ever seen! "I used to be addicted to meth, now I sell towels! You following this cameraman?" I hope this doesn't lead to the Snuggy being sold in Costco!

Here We Go Again ...
Here we go again with the compressed air warnings. Who are these supposed to work on? At least the last one had bittering agent to keep kids from huffing: http://www.natuba.com/photo/Mh8duQ/ This ones doesn't seem to have that, but here is their stern warning: CAUTION: Aerosol Sniffing Is A Deadly Serious Matter! It Won't Get You High-But It Can Kill You! WTF? These guys are thuper cereal man! Thanks for the warning Dust Off!

IT'S A TRAP!
Saw this on the picnic table outside work first thing in the morning. It said "free" on it, but I wasn't going to take the chance! And I mean really? Kingwood? Sounds like a rip off Chinese brand of Kenwood. You aint tricking me! As Admiral Ackbar would say: "IT'S A TRAP!"

Hook em' While Their Young!
I like Obama too, but somehow this sign really kinda creeps me out. Babies should stay out of politics, they are so easily manipulated.

Some Things Don't Need Bulk Sales
I always thought it was a myth that you could buy condoms at Costco/Sams Club, but lo and behold they DO! A 40 pack for 8 bucks. Wait, a 40 pack?!? Okay that is a big commitment don't you think? I would need to buy bulk bags of ice and a ton gatorade with that purchase. (Maybe that is the conspiracy!)

My Old Blazer
Imagine my surprise when I went to Petersburg, VA, to find this guy had exactly the same year (94), model (Trailblazer 4.3 lt), and paint scheme of my old Chevy Blazer from high school. Brought a tear to my eye.

RedHat 7.1
Found this OS, RedHat 7.1, in my closet from years and years ago. I used to use this extensively for work and school back in the day. I also have RedHat 5.0 and a RedHat 4 somewhere at home laying around, but 7.1 and 7.2 were leaps and bounds above those versions.

Lori Dies
Lori dies. I managed to find a replacement battery and it appeared I had her resurrected. It required quite a bit of doing, including some not too pleasant soldering action. She managed to regain life and work for another two and a half days. Something blew in the power supply unrelated to the battery replacement. This produced a sad puff of smoke. It turned out to be a part I could not replace. The final poof of smoke indicated the ghost in the shell was gone. She passed away for the last time, September 27th 2008. This is to you Lori, the best girlfriend I ever had.

Ugly Mug Coffee
Noticed this at the supermarket. The expressions of the people on these bags are hilarious. Literally they are of "ugly mugs" and that "just got out the bed" look. This is some smart advertising!
