Sunken Crane in Houston
This photo is of a sunken crane on Oct 16th 2006 in Houston Texas. I would have taken a picture of the front end loaders but they are COMPLETELY under water. If you must know, they are on the left. That road you see on the left? That is I-10 and it has about 10 feet to spare. Don't these things costs like 250k or more? Ooops. Be careful where you park! Update: This photo was featured on the Houston Metblogs here. thanks!

Will it Survive Ike?
The construction crane at the new residential high rise at Discovery Green. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. It's only about 16 blocks away from me.

The Roof Bar in Houston
Decent view, and there's enough room where I don't have to bump into the douchebags.

any food joints open?
Couldn't find any. Let me know if you do. The sign on the door of the Ninfa's on Navigation said they'll be open tomorrow.
I see the crane is still standing at Discovery Green :)
Yes, but it's turned around the other way. :)
