Minor Damage from Hurricane Ike
We lost three small trees, got a little water in the house, and lost power for 3 hours. Not bad considering roofs, fences, trees, signs, traffic lights, etc were destroyed much further away from the eye of the hurricane than us.

My New TV DOA!
So I waited 3 years to buy a TV to replace my crappy 14 inch tube TV. When I finally pulled the trigger on this new Samsung LN46A650, the delivery guys damage it in transit! At least it was exchanged for a new one a week later by the vendor.

INSURANCE SUX!!!
If you have been following my pictures, you probably know how an apartment complex gate closed on my truck. http://www.johnstrunk.com/blogger/2008/02/24/gawdamn-gate/ Well my insurance just called me to tell me I am liable now for the gate and the damage to the truck because I went through the "Exit" gate even if it was open and that there is a sign that displays "Not Liable For Injuries or Damage". There also, supposedly, is a sign on the other entrance (down the hill to the right) that states "Entrance Only". Now look at this photo above of the gate, locked open I might add, and tell me how you are supposed to know this is an "Exit" gate. Again do note, I did NOT follow anyone into the complex, it was locked open like it is now and it closed on me as I entered. I also see no non-liability sign. I am beyond mad right now. (please note I did erase the street number off this picture)

performer xiang yan helicopter charging
Here is my performer xiang yan helicopter charging n the table. The charging cable plugs in underneath the helicopter, right next to the on/off switch. The cable itself is housed in a compartment that can be hidden in the remote. You also have to turn on the remote. Also, I have a netscreen router on the desk as well, it's a Juniper Netscreen NS-5XP (NS 5XP, I'm never sure). It only has screenos 4 on it, but I have the screenos 5 image around here somewhere. I need a power cable to make it work first though.

How far did you drop the Macbook for it to experience this kind of damage?
I think I dropped it about 3 feet, maybe more. It just hit the weakest part of the case probably, since the superdrive is right there too.
