Mitch Hedberg http://www.mitchhedberg.net/ is the best. I saw him do a set a few years ago. It was about four weeks before his first cable spot that made him a name. He was the opener and killed the audience. The headline could not even touch this guy. The whole set he performed with his hoodie pulled over so you never saw his face.
This guy was the definition of satire.
