It was almost like a David La Chapelle photo shoot... we were slaving away at al.com on Morris Ave. in downtown Birmingham, AL one day when we heard this crash outside. We stepped out side to find this.

Entrance to medina and Riad
This was the near unmarked entrance to the tiny passegway leading to our Riad. When the petit taxi first dropped us off, it was with a leap of faith that we were in the right place. Later, I took this picture in case we needed to find our way back with the sign to the restaurant our only landmark as to the correct opening.
