The Airport at Newark/Liberty
Had to drop my dad off at the airport today. Drove for about 45 minutes and pulled into the departing gates section. I told him that I would be right back after I get the car parked. Now I haven't been to EWR in a long time (pre-9/11), my have things changed around here! When I finally found a spot to park, it was about 20 min. I had to walk the full length of this covered walkway, take the monorail, and find the area where I was supposed to meet him. Total time: 35 min. I barely saw him long enough to say goodbye as he left for the gate. (sigh)

Ike is here and I am locked out.
Some idiot locked the (never locked) exterior doors to my apartment. Called the cops and they told me to "break it down." So, I did. Cool. Wind increasing dramatically! Will let you know.
