Houston I-10 and Beltway 8 on October 16th, 2006 after heavy rains. This part of Houston *always* floods after a decent rain. Just something you learn to live with in Houston Texas.

Reflection on Working
This was taken during daylight hours. In the underpass below I-10 and Beltway 8 in Houston. Currently under construction. One day after flooding in the area, which is typical for this particular underpass. The bright white in the lower left is the reflective gear on the worker driving the back ho. (sp?)

Field of Dreams (Graffiti)
Ants suck. Or actually they bite. Very quickly. How they manage to swarm and bite, or at least inject initially in unison is beyond me. The anti-photographer-pheromone or something. The major flaw with HDR is of course the need to take numerous photos from the same spot with different exposures. So hypothetically, if after 3 of the 5 planned shots you realize that one leg of the tripod is plunged through a red fire ant hill, well, that would be bad. Or that would suck. OK back to the photo. This is a field near Westview in Spring Branch in West Houston. I woke up a street person taking this shot on the way to work. He was sleeping in the dugout. Like an Astro. Sorry Mr!

Houston AIR Rally
