i signed up just to comment on this… the description you gave is the exact reality. this is why i don't shop there. that plus the company they carry. many of the patrons are no different than the staff. i feel uncomfortable around them. i'm sure there are a few exceptions to the rule, but those are rare. walmart employs people out of a public service rather than a true doctrine of legitimate hiring practices. most of them would not measure up to traditional standards. it's sad. i'm sure i will get heckled for this comment, but is it wrong to have expectations? i mean... if it was fast food then my expectations would be in-line, but for such a giant retailer? you have to draw the line somewhere.
